We're against the gun so to speak. Art assets are trickling in and and both Max and Vaibhav are plugging away at implementation. This is going to be a close one for sure but my team and I are dedicated to seeing the project through - for the client and for ourselves. This is the first game after all!
While we are all in crunch mode for the next two days to deliver the final pitch and product, it appears as though most of the other teams are pretty much complete. In such an environment, one cannot help but feel they've pulled an "Icarus" and have overreached. Perhaps we did. But my team and I didn't want to just deliver a prototype. We wanted to make a first level to the game. Because we were "thrown" to the wolves", so to speak, this time around - it was important for us to prove ourselves in the process by making something big in the short amount of time.
We probably won't have to do that in the future.
No if you'll excuse me - there's a game that needs finishin'
