Brainstorming a Game and a Team Identity

So I'm writing this from my hometown, on the outskirts of Boston after a massive change in my personal life. It has been one strange and life-changing week for me to say the least but some great things have been going on back in Salt Lake City with The Co-Signers. What are they? Read ON!
When I left the team at the end of last week, our final team composition was up in the air due to the cancellation of the other two cohort games. On Monday, however, our team was finalized. Have a look below at the final roster!

Team Hack N' Hide
Andrew Witts - Lead Designer/Creative Director
AJ Dimick - Producer/SCRUM Master
Zac Truscott - Lead Producer/Point-Man Designer
Jake Muehle - Technical Producer/ Hacker Designer
Damean Lyon - Lead Artist
Max Xu - Programmer/Network Manager
Chris Rawson - Programmer/Hacker Designer/Hacker Artist
Nikhil Raktale - Programmer
Vaibhav Bhalerao - Programmer
Kiran Nair - Programmer
Aaraddhya Bhatalkar AKA "A.B" - Programmer
Saurabh Pendse - Programmer
Sagar Mistry - Programmer
Yang Chongtze - Programmer

The first task as the new team? De-construct the game together and do some iterative brainstorm together. I, unfortunately, will not be involved in this team exercise however because of my current location and unfortunate life-change. However, I believe that removing myself from this pre-production process will benefit the team as a whole because the game has been pretty much attached to my name. By letting the team organically move the game together in the right direction - I feel it will cause universal ownership among the team members and overall allow them to make The Co-Signers their own.

I truly am excited to hear what the guys (I know, having a lady on this team would be pretty beneficial in terms of design voices) have to show at the end of this week. Next week is Spring Break but I will check in to discuss the new direction that the team has come up with.

Until next time!

-Andrew
