Mission Complete, Time to Play the Waiting Game

The pitch is officially complete and I could not feel more relieved. It went fantastically! Zac and I killed it in our roles of the Point-Man and the Hacker. Our pacing was great, our videos played perfectly, and our demo went over really well with the crowd. We did have one hiccup though... Read ON!

So, the hiccup...

For our demo of the 2-player asymmetrical gameplay of The Co-Signers, we were actually going to be using 2 projector screens as you can see behind me on the right in the picture above. However, when it was time to demo the game in front of the industry panel (people from Eat Sleep Play, Disney, Boeing, EA Salt Lake, and an indie pro) my projector kept cutting in and out. In the end, it stabilized and the panel got to see the last half of the demo without any quirks but it was a alarming start to the most crucial part of our pitch.

After all of the other pitches were done, some members of the industry panel came over to check out the game and give feedback which was awesome. Open development is imperative to The Co-Signers because we are venturing into territory that is relatively new so talking with the panel was amazing.

Now that the pitch is over, I can relax for a few days until the faculty meets with us on Thursday to give the team good or bad news. Here's hoping The Co-Signers lives on!
